My husband and I had a fabulous dinner outside on the patio Saturday evening, July 1. I ordered the Chicken Stirfry with sticky rice. (It is available with tofu if you prefer vegetarian fare) and my husband ordered the Plain Jane burger with shoestring fries. I decided to try the seasonal vegetables as a side. The vegetables were so delicious that I thought I was eating a dessert! They were sweet and savory and perfectly done. I have never tasted vegetables that tasted that wonderful! The Stir Fry Chicken was excellent, as well. There were chunks of succulent chicken tumbled upon a bed of sticky rice seasoned superbly with a mixture of mushrooms and savory herbs and spices. It was a lovely evening. I can't wait to return and try more items on the menu. The only reason I don't give this restaurant 5 stars is that I was given my water in a plastic tumbler. The dinner was served on ceramic dinnerware with real metal cutlery, so why can't I have a "glass" for my water?

My fiancé and I stopped for a quick bite on our way to DC, and my word am I happy we did. Super friendly staff, quite booths, and clean restroom! Old Bank has the most amazing french fries I've ever tasted. I've already made it very clear we will be making another visit on the way home. I wish we lived closer!!

Staff was great. Atmosphere is good. Nachos appetizer was huge and tasty. Could be an entire meal. Beer selection was good. I ordered the wrong thing. The Italian Sausage dinner was disappointing. Sausage, sauerkraut, and bacon should not be bland. I did grab a bite of my girlfriends hamburger and it was incredible. The skillet cookie dessert was also very good. Will definitely go back and try more things.

While shopping in Bloomington the locals raved about The Old Bank.Got there around 5 on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Even as the place started filling up and a wait list formed, we were never rushed. Had the crispy blue gill appetizer which is amazing, also the smoked chicken dinner which will provide for another meal. So plentiful! The bistro steak is another must have with the parmesan scalloped potatoes. Delicious. Next time in the area will come back.

Nice facility. Friendly staff. A bit over priced for the meals. $20 for a chicken dinner and $3.00 for a vanilla twist cone for the granddaughter. Although, I realize you're going to pay more for organic. I had the burger and fries and thoroughly enjoyed it! Good price for that. Great flavor, and loved, loved, LOVED the fries!!! Great portion and loved how they served them in a tin bucket with brown paper lining!
